We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President of Sales to lead operations sales and drive growth. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team, and establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners. This position reports directly to the President and will be a key member of the executive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing revenue generation plans that will drive the company's financial success. This position emphasizes a proactive "hunter" mentality, focusing on actively seeking out new business opportunities rather than passively waiting for them to come.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategies to expand market share with current customers and seek new opportunities for growth, ensuring ongoing dominance in the market.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear sales targets and motivate the team to exceed expectations.
- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest services that will meet those needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Recognize and capitalize on profitable opportunities from start to finish, increasing efficiency and profitability throughout the process.
- Lead negotiations for favorable terms and conditions.
- Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
- Track sales metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Implement effective sales reporting systems to provide regular updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales and business strategies.
- Work closely with Operations to align sales efforts and maximize efficiency, recognizing their continued involvement in sales responsibilities.
- Take ownership of budgets and spend for designated area of assigned responsibilities.
- Act as company representative at trade shows.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Required Meetings or Coordination:
- Daily call or face to face with direct reports.
- Weekly Executive Team meetings.
- Weekly business development meetings with Divisional Leaders.
- Weekly safety meeting with all field employees.
- Weekly Project Managers meeting with company-wide PM’s, CM’s and Operations Director.
